Fort Process draws together multi-disciplinary sound expressions and presents them in the mysterious caverns, tunnels and open spaces of Newhaven Fort. This unique sound event offers cave noise, free-jazz sunshine, abstract chamber dungeons and more. Hanged Man Films were called in to interpret the event, and this is how we saw it. A colour version of this film was also commissioned, and will be available shortly. This is the directors intended version for this channel only. FORT PROCESS - SHORT FILM
For one day in the summer of 2014, the lunatics ran the asylum. Noise bands, experimental art installations, alternative films, and free-thinking talks took over a Victorian ocean defence fort in the south east of England. We were asked to capture what we saw, and this short film is our interpretation of that day.
